Itinerary in Hong Kong

Day 1

• 13:00 : Arrived in Hong Kong and purchased Airport Express Single Pass for HK$ 220 at Information Counter. We took bus from airport to the city, detail is on the Travel Tips to Hong Kong page.
• 15:10 : After checking in hotel, relaxed for few minutes, then we went to The Peak. We were one hour earlier than scheduled. How to go to The Peak ?
• 18:10 : From The Peak, we went down to Central Statue Square, Bank of China, The Legislative Council Building, HSBC Bank Headquarters. Then we went to Central Mid-Level's Escalator and Hollywood Road.
• 21:40 : Went back to the hotel.

Day 2

• 07:13 : Walked out from hotel.
• 07:22 : Arrived at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, watch Flag Raising ceremony and Golden Bauhinia Square.
• 08:15 : Our next stop is Big Buddha. From HKCEC, we walked to Wan Chai MTR station
• 08:30 : Arrived at Wan Chai MTR Station. From Wan Chai station, we took the train heading to Sheung Wan Station.
  We alighted at Central Station, because we had to take the Tung Chung line train from Hong Kong Station. We walked from Central Station to Hong Kong Station, which took quite few minutes.
• 09:06 : Arrived at Tung Chung MTR Station. We took bus number 23 to Po Lin Monastery.
• 09:14 : Finally we found the bus stop for bus number 23. Where is it located ? Exit from Tung Chung Station, turned right and walked through Tung Chung Town Center to bus station, then turned left and followed the sign for Bus number 23. How to go to Big Buddha ?
• 10:18 : Arrived at Ngong Ping Village. Walked up to Big Buddha and walked around Po Lin Monastery, Wisdom Path and Ngong Ping Village.
• 14:35 : It's time to go to our next stop. We took the bus from Ngong Ping Village to Tung Chung Station. As there was no more seat on the bus, we had to stand for 35 minutes until we reached Tung Chung station. For those who are not feeling well or can get car sick, it's better to wait for the next bus. You may refer to the bus schedule at the bus stop.
• 15:10 : Arrived at Tung Chung Station and we took the train to Hong Kong Station. Went out from the Station and followed the sign to Star Ferry terminal. We used our Airport Express Pass to enter into the terminal.
• 16:00 : Took some photos of Clock Tower and the surroundings then walked along Avenue of Star.
• 20:00 : Watched the Symphony of Lights.
• 20:20 : Walked to Star Ferry terminal to catch a ferry back to Wan Chai. MUST things to do in Hong Kong.
• 21:00 : Arrived at the hotel.

Day 3

• 07:48 : Walked out of hotel and walked towards Wan Chai MTR Station.
• 08:05 : Arrived at Hong Kong Station In Town Check In.
• 08:30 : Checked in at the In Town Check In counter.
• 08:48 : Took bus number 6 to Repulse Bay, it cost HKD 7.90 per person, we used our Airport Express Pass for the bus.
• 13:15 : Went to have a lunch at Charlie Brown Cafe.
• 15:25 : Finished our lunch went back to hotel.
• 16:10 : Arrived at the hotel, relaxed for a while.
• 22:00 : Walked to HKCEC to join the crowd waiting for the New Year count down.
• 00:00 : Happy New Year celebration along the Victoria Bay.

Day 4

• 06:00 : Took taxi from hotel to In Town Check In.
• 06:15 : Board the Airport Express train to the airport.
• 06:45 : Shop at the airport and prepare for boarding the airplane.
• 08:00 : Go back to Singapore.
